for the contest 
we're supposed to make our version of the Dark Sorcerer and I wanted him to look young but still.. like.. touched by age. Then I wanted him to look evil but not like some psycho.
His eyes had been red at first but I figured the green would be more... I don't know ... not as scary I mean he was one of the sages.
I figured he would keep the gold in his robe because it often shows power when you carry gold thread. And since he's pretty powerful it fit XD
